Alexander Scholarship Fund
In October we focus on the Alexander Scholarship Fund (ASF).
For more than 60 years, the Alexander Scholarship Fund has provided YMI’s most direct way to support the YMCA and is named after the founder of Y’s Men International, Judge Paul William Alexander.
ASF began in 1954, with our founder’s own initiative that gifted a sum of USD 900, the difference between the cost of a painted portrait that was originally commissioned and the eventual photograph he suggested instead, seen here.
