History
The Endowment Fund (EF) was created in 1958 from the preceding Capital Reserve Fund. Today, EF money is held in international investment accounts managed by an internal five-member Board of Trustees with diversified representation. Many of you may recognise the EF as the source of the Area SDS allocations helping to cover the costs associated with the successful charter of new clubs. The EF also helps cover the rent of the IHQ office and provides money for certain leadership training initiatives.
